What we believe about God!
According to scripture, “Hear, O Israel: the Lord out God is ONE Lord.” (Deuteronomy 6:4). “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” (John 1:1). “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:14).
Repentance
Repentance is the first step toward salvation. The Bible says, “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Repentance is godly sorrow, which then leads to change of lifestyle. Repentance is about turning from sin and turning back to God.
Baptism
We believe in full immersion water baptism. Baptism is the burying of your sins. Baptism comes from the Greek word “baptize”, which means immerse or submerge. When you are baptized in the name of Jesus, your sins are then washed clean and you take on the name of Jesus Christ. Scripture says, “He that believers and IS baptized shall be saved;” (Mark 16:16).
The Holy Ghost
Acts 2:38 says, once you have repented, been baptized in Jesus Name, you will receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Speaking in an unknown tongue is the evidence that you have received the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Holy Ghost is Jesus’ spirit living inside of you.
